Panic At The Jetty: Students, Teachers Scramble In The Water At Sabah Island

A video of a jetty crash that happened today had been circulating on social media platforms.
It was said that the jetty that collapsed was used by the students and teachers of SK Kampung Pababag in Semporna, Sabah.
From the video it can be observed that the teachers and villagers were among the first to react in making sure that the kids were safe and sound.
The kids could be seen crying and appeared traumatized by the incident. From the video it could also be seen that the teachers tried to make sure the textbooks did not get washed away by the water.
Netizens on social media praised the efforts of the teachers and villagers.
Others took to Twitter to show their support for the teachers and students.
One Twitter user also shared a picture before the incident happened and the jetty looked unstable and in bad shape.
There were other comments from the people urging the government to take immediate action on the matter.
There have been no reports of serious injuries among the victims and through social media shares, it appears that all of them are safe.
